Hello! My name is Amber Alvarez, I am a Para-educator, and I am very excited to be a part of the Woodside team. I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Education is very important to me and it is incredible how we never stop learning. I am especially excited to work with Woodside Elementary because they recognize equity and that children may require different methods of learning. They cater to the children's specific needs to make sure they succeed. I have many nieces, nephews, and friends with children and I love how I get to watch them grow and absorb knowledge like sponges. In my spare time, I like to be with my family, go on hikes, draw, and play with my two dogs. I am eager to get to know everyone and be a reliable helping hand!
